One of the best tools for sloughing off the old and making space for the new is dry brushing. Dry brushing is actually one of my favorite self care practices because it just feels so good. Once you're finished swiping the brush all over, your skin feels incredible and you are surprisingly energized.
Also, a fun bonus is you can dry brush yourself and feel justas good as when someone else in a spa does it for you. I'm all for saving some pennies in that regard.
Each day we lose roughly 600,000 skin cells and since we do not run around in the buff, some of those cells don't scrape off as easily as one would hope. A quick swipe of the dry brush will assist the body is expelling the things that are dead.
Specific to releasing for new seasons, dry brushing is incredible for two reasons;
things that are dead do not belong with you in the next season in which you are desiring to be very much alive.
it boosts your immune system thereby enhancing your overall experience for the next leg of your journey.
I love the symbolic act of this releasing practice!
PRACTICAL BENEFITS OF DRY BRUSHING INCLUDE:
Everyday millions of skin cells flake off the body
Increases blood flow and circulation
Stimulates the lymphatic system for proper drainage
Works on removing cellulite
Aids skin in absorbing moisture
Gets rid of lumps, bumps, dry patches and flakes

When beginning this regime, do it twice a week so as to not detox too fast and furiously. Be sure to begin at your feet and work up, always brushing toward the heart.
