Marjoram Oil relaxes tense muscles after exercise, and is supportive of the nervous tension. It is a key oil in the Raindrop Technique. It is beneficial for occasional simple muscles especially when combined with massage.

 

So, when I think of marjoram essential oil, I definitely associate it with muscle support after a hard work out. It is for this reason, that marjoram essential oil is used during Raindrop Technique.

Melissa

Cleansing and Balancing

Lemon Balm uses. Melissa oil is strengthening and revitalizing, yet soothing and calming making it good to ease stress. Several studies report that melissa may benefit the skin.

 

Lemon Balm has several common names including Sweet Balm and Melissa. These are all names for the same plant Melissa officinalis so don’t be confused by the different names.

Myrrh

Supports Healthy Skin

The benefits of myrrh - powerful antioxidant support. It supports healthy skin. The Arabian people believed it helped wrinkled, chapped, and cracked skin. Today, myrrh is widely used in oral hygiene products.

Contains a high content of sesquiterpenes, a class of compounds that have a direct effect on our emotions or limbic system. It is purifying, restorative, revitalizing, and uplifting.

Myrtle

Myrtle Oil is is supportive of the skin, and hair.  It is also helpful for meditation and lifting the spirit.

 

It is contained in Purification and RC blends. These are both blends that I would diffuse to support to open the breath.

Myrtle’s chemistry is very close to frankincense essential oil.

Neroli essential oil or orange blossom oil.  Known for its transformational effects on the mind, body and spirit it is a highly regarded oil used in Ancient Egypt.

It is produced from the orange blossom flower. When using this oil one feels very present.

 

It takes about 1000 pounds of orange blossom flower to make 1 pound of Neroli oil. And goes through a lengthy absolute extraction process making it is very expensive to produce like jasmine and rose otto essential oils.

Nutmeg

Neroli

Nutmeg uses nutmeg essential oil includes energizing and uplifting. It also supports nervous and endocrine systems and prostaglandin balance when taken internally as a dietary supplement (see nutmeg vitality).

 

Many of the medicinal Nutmeg uses were first discovered by the Chinese and now are a vital part of Chinese culture.

Today, we still use nutmeg as an essential oil energize and balance.

Oregano

The benefits of oregano oil go beyond cooking. Oregano essential oil contains  naturally occurring constituent carvacrol. It is a key oil in the Raindrop Technique.

Palmarosa Essential Oil also known as Turkish Geranium or Indian Geranium Oil. Soothing to the body and mind it also supports healthy skin.

Palo Santo

Palo Santo Oil or “Holy Wood” is a very spiritual essential oil. Like frankincense, palo santo is known as a spiritual oil and is called holy wood. Used by the Incas to purify and cleanse the spirit from negative energies.

Patchouli

Petitgrain

Natural Stress Remedy

Petitgrain essential oil has traditionally been used to support a healthy nervous system—particularly with nervous stress and exhaustion. It may  improve instances of excessive perspiration. And support healthy skin and hair; particularly good for oily skin.
